1. Payment Disclaimer and Dispute Policy

DNSAfrica aims to provide a reliable and consistent service. In the event of any issue relating to a payment, transaction or service, the registrant must contact DNSAfrica directly in order to seek a resolution.

DNSAfrica will make reasonable efforts to respond to customer service inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.

Except in cases of proven fraud, including unauthorized use of a payment method duly reported to the competent authorities, all payments made to DNSAfrica are final and non-refundable.

By making a payment, the registrant acknowledges and agrees that:

  • the service provided by DNSAfrica consists in the allocation, delegation, renewal, maintenance or modification of a domain name entry and related DNS configuration;
  • such service is deemed to be rendered once the corresponding operation has been executed or maintained in DNSAfrica’s systems;
  • dissatisfaction with the service, subsequent change of intention, misunderstanding of the service, or failure to use the domain name does not entitle the registrant to a refund;
  • the registrant remains responsible for ensuring that the payment corresponds to the intended domain name, period and service.

The registrant agrees to address any commercial, technical or administrative issue directly with DNSAfrica before initiating any dispute, chargeback, reversal or payment opposition through a payment provider.

Where a dispute, chargeback, reversal, cancellation or payment opposition is initiated without valid grounds of proven fraud:

  • DNSAfrica may suspend or delete the domain name or domain names concerned;
  • DNSAfrica may suspend or terminate all related services;
  • DNSAfrica may apply such measures to all domain names associated with the same registrant, account, administrative contact, billing contact or payment source;
  • no refund, compensation or indemnity shall be due, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

DNSAfrica reserves the right to contest any unjustified dispute, chargeback or reversal and to provide relevant documentation, logs, invoices, correspondence and technical records to the payment provider or competent authority.

These principles apply to all payment methods, including but not limited to PayPal, bank transfer, card payment or any other payment channel accepted by DNSAfrica.

Payments processed through PayPal may appear under the reference NICCONGO.
